Chair
This chair is a design and woodworking exercise, taking one of Gerrit Rietveld's simple armchairs as reference.
The final treatment of surfaces consist on a mix of natural oils and waxes (Sunflower, Soy and Thistle oil, and Carnauba and Candelilla Wax), which is micro-porous (allowing the wood to breathe, moisture can evaporate), and gives the surface resistance to water, dirt, and common household substances, plus giving it a clear satin finish that accentuates the grain and texture of the wood.
Dimensions are 50x60X65cm (LxWxH).
