The bench is designed for three persons and allows different alternatives of use, thanks to it’s high resistance and to the fact that it can be reached from both sides.
Itis made out of clear Nordic pine wood, without knots. Its joints where solved taking both traditional carpentry and cabinet making as reference, and they include half-lap and dowel joints, all glued, without use of screws.
The final treatment of surfaces consist on a mix of natural oils and waxes (Sunflower, Soy and Thistle oil, and Carnauba and Candelilla Wax), which is micro-porous (allowing the wood to breathe, moisture can evaporate), and gives the surface resistance to water, dirt, and common household substances, plus giving it a clear satin finish that accentuates the grain and texture of the wood.
Dimensions are 140x38x60cm (LxWxH).
